We welcomed Dr. Z from A-Z Home Vet Care for a wonderful talk on the benefits of pet-assisted therapy and its positive impact on mental health. She brought along her adorable dog, Kipper, who instantly stole everyone’s hearts! Our residents loved spending time with Kipper, sharing cuddles, smiles, and plenty of tail wags. It was a heart warming reminder of how much joy and comfort our furry friends can bring. 🐶🐾❤️

Happy Halloween! We’ve had a spook-tacular time celebrating today- dressing up in our favorite costumes and spreading smiles all around! Our residents absolutely loved seeing everyone’s creative outfits! And the highlight of the day? A special visit from the cutest little Baby Yoda.

Every month, we love hosting our New Resident Meet and Greet — a warm welcome for our newest friends who join the community! This month’s gathering was extra sweet as we shared delicious pumpkin pie and enjoyed friendly conversation together. It’s always wonderful to see new faces mingling, laughing, and becoming part of our ever growing CHAL family.

Every Saturday, our residents come together for others. Whether it’s packing gift bags for the homeless through Nourish Meals on Wheels or making cozy blankets to help people stay warm during the cold winter months, we believe in the power of kindness and connection and especially in giving back.

It’s more than just a weekly activity, it’s a chance to make a difference together.

The puzzle crew at CHAL is growing and so is the excitement! Thanks to our dedicated lead puzzler, there’s always a fresh challenge waiting. As soon as one puzzle is completed, a new one appears, keeping the fun going!

As the weather turns a bit colder, our puzzlers are busy doing this cozy work while chatting and connecting with others. It’s great fun and keeps our minds active and sharp.

A group of our wonderful residents enjoyed a special lunch outing to The Perfect Landing. 🛬 With stunning views of the runway and delicious food, it was a perfect afternoon filled with laughter, good conversation, and great company.

From savory sandwiches to sweet desserts (and a glass of Chardonnay or two), everyone left with full bellies and happy hearts.

Big thanks to the staff at The Perfect Landing for their warm hospitality.

Our residents had a wonderful time soaking up the stunning fall colors from the fun of a Trishaw! With the crisp autumn breeze in their hair and the vibrant leaves all around, it was the perfect way to enjoy this Fall season.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this outing special— especially our friends at Cycling Without Age for giving our residents the thrill of the ride.
