In this thoughtful session, Jennifer will explore ways caregivers can reconnect with loved ones living with dementia through shared sensory experiences like music, gentle movement, gardening, therapeutic touch, and mindfulness. These activities help shift focus away from cognitive decline and back into the body, the senses, and the present moment.

Jennifer founded Dignify Dementia in 2022 after caring for her father, Jim, who lived with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinsonism. Drawing on her background in public health research and her personal caregiving journey, she developed a Cognitive Wellness Toolkit designed to help people maintain routine, independence, and positivity through daily sensory engagement.

Today, Jennifer shares these resources with families and caregivers across Colorado to support more compassionate, person-centered dementia care.
