✨ the first trimester is full of magic, even when baby is only the size of a poppy seed! here’s a look at what we capture from 5–12 weeks during our early ultrasound sessions:

⭐ Weeks 5–6
• gestational sac & yolk sac become visible
• baby is still teeny tiny, but the structures our bodies need to support the pregnancy are taking shape
• heartbeat may begin to appear closer to 6 weeks

⭐ Weeks 6–7
• heartbeat is more likely to be visible
• baby starts to measure in millimeters and develop rapidly (from “gummy bear” to human appearance!)
• early reassurance scans confirm progress & location of pregnancy

⭐ Weeks 8–10
• baby becomes significantly easier to visualize
• clearer & stronger heartbeat
• tiny limb buds appear, early movement & little wiggles can be seen on the screen!

⭐ Weeks 10–11
• baby’s head, body, and arm/leg movements become more noticeable
• you may see wiggles, jumps, and hiccups as baby becomes more active
• early 3D/4D/HD can begin capturing those first features unique to your little one
