Pine Grove is excited to announce our 10th Chili Cook-Off happening on January 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM!

Join us for a fun and flavorful afternoon as participants show off their best chili recipes and compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Whether you’re cooking or cheering from the sidelines, it’s sure to be a great time filled with good food and friendly competition.

With flu season upon us, we will be closely monitoring the health of our residents, staff, and community to help ensure everyone remains safe and well. If any residents or community members are experiencing illness, we will postpone the event to a later date, which will be determined and shared at that time.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as the health and safety of everyone involved remains our top priority.

We are excited to share that Pine Grove proudly hosted our First Annual Christmas Cookie Bake-Off, and what an incredible turnout it was! We had over 10 amazing cookie entries, each one baked with love and holiday spirit. With so many delicious cookies, choosing winners was no easy task—but we did have only three places:

🥇 1st Place: Amanda Akridge
🥈 2nd Place: Melonia Molly
🥉 3rd Place: Laura Casey

We want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make this event such a fun and memorable experience for our residents. A very special thank-you goes out to our judges, who generously donated their time, care, and love to our residents here at Pine Grove Nursing Center. We truly couldn’t have done this without you!

We want to give a huge tune of gratitude to Anna Hagler, who took the time to hand-write Christmas cards for our residents here at Pine Grove.

For an 18-year-old to show this much compassion and love is truly something special! Anna, you brought so many smiles, warmed so many hearts, and made our residents feel incredibly loved this Christmas season.

Thank you for being a bright light and reminding us what the holiday spirit is all about. 🌟

Today we had a wonderful time coloring and decorating gingerbread houses, and it looks like we even had two little helpers join us along the way!

Smiles, laughter, and Christmas magic filled the room, making it a day to remember.

Just a friendly reminder that the deadline to turn in all Angel Tree gifts is December 18th at 5:00 PM.

Please make sure your gifts are labeled with the correct Angel and turned in to Pine Grove by the deadline so we have plenty of time to sort and deliver them to our residents.
