NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair The best time to prepare for an emergency is before it happens. Disaster in NWA doesn’t just include tornadoes.

The 18th annual Emergency Preparedness Fair, facilitated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is designed to give our friends throughout NWA the tools to prepare their families, neighbors and communities for disaster before it strikes. At the Preparedness Fair we give the NWA community the tools to respond to a wide variety of large scale and personal disasters including fire, flood, loss of employment and basic first aid needs. The Emergency Preparedness Fair is a great place for the whole family to come and learn about what to do in an emergency in a fun and educational way. Not only are there safety demonstrations by organizations including the Red Cross and FEMA, but there are dedicated kids areas where children of all ages can learn about what to do in an emergency.

NWA Emergency Preparedness Fair of 2025 was a huge success — and it wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our incredible sponsors! 💛

🌭 Bar-S, 🍞 Flowers Baking Co., and 🛒 Sam's Club made it possible to provide a FREE lunch for all attendees — and it was delicious!
💧 Rebuilders kept everyone hydrated with plenty of water throughout the day.
