Week 2 of CCRCs Month of Giving continues with us supporting our local vets! All proceeds will go to the Centerville American Legion. We are selling raffle tickets for a Centerville gift basket. $5 for 1 ticket and $20 for 5. Thank you to these local businesses and their donations

1. Come to CCRC to drop off Kleenex boxes, Clorox wipes and hand sanitizers for the Centerville School. The drop off is in the dining room by the tree.

2. Purchase raffle tickets for a Centerville gift basket. Purchase up to Tuesday, November 11th for the Veterans Luncheon. All proceeds will be given to the Centerville American Legion. The attached picture are the items for the drawing.

3. Purchase raffle tickets for a $250 Scheels gift card. $5- 1 ticket. $10- 3 tickets. Drawing will be on Thursday, December 18th for Family Christmas Party. All proceeds will go towards a handicapped accessible bus for the facility.

Today we played who wants be a Millionaire. Ruth won! We then enjoyed happy hour and played guess that jersey.

Today was a quiet day but fun day! Madison reminisced and than played Yahtzee with the residents. After supper the residents played bingo!

Tomorrow is the last day to collect supplies for the Centerville School District 60-1.

What a fun day!! We started our busy afternoon with our pen pal visit, we wrote down what we were thankful and colored, than we played scattergories. After our pen pals left we began baking hour which we made Carmel Puff Corn. YUM. Claudia played a huge roll with her experience. For snack we had donuts to celebrate National Donut Day 🍩. To end our day we painted nails!

Tuesday = Bingo and popcorn! After coffee we had our resident council meeting. Then Emma and Kristen’s dog Ernie came to visit us!!!

Today we celebrated South Dakota Day. 136 years old! We started our celebration off with Dimock cheese and crackers, than we went around and asked what some residents favorite place to visit in South Dakota are. This afternoon Bill Peterson came to sing for us. Than we had SDSU Ice Cream for snack. After snack, Ashley brought in her pet goat. So cute!! For supper club we served Pheasant! Staff were also asked to wear their favorite South Dakota team.
