Most people think life is a timeline of events.

Marriage.
Betrayal.
Jobs.
Losses.
Successes.

But what if life isn’t a line at all?

What if it’s a series of shifts in consciousness made possible by those events?

The event is just the doorway.
The awareness that becomes available after is the real transformation.

Time didn’t change you.
Seeing differently did.

There was a version of me who could hold everything together.
Capable. Reliable. Strong. Needed.

But somewhere in the holding, I stopped breathing.

Not literally.
But deeply.

And I think one day my children will look back and recognize it —
not the event,
not the date,
not the reason —

but the moment mom started breathing again.

The moment survival softened into steadiness.
The moment strength became presence instead of armor.
The moment I stopped auditioning for my own life.

We don’t move forward on a straight line.
We spiral upward in awareness.

The real milestones are invisible.
They live in the nervous system.
They show up in the way we exhale.

Life isn’t what happened.

It’s who you became conscious enough to be because it happened.

The cards says “not all things are what they seem,” but they are saying nothing is what it seems and if you think you know and you’re confident in that…sorry folks but nope. Even as everyone thinks they are seeing behind the curtain, they say, “You’re seeing how the curtain is made to obscure and you’re probably missing it.” And furthermore, “You’re looking for the wrong secrets. The lower world is having its meltdowns. You should be looking elsewhere…to the real hidden worlds…to the worlds you can choose to dwell in.”

Are you going to look back and watch Sidom and Ammorah burn and find you are turned to salt and stuck in the illusion, or are you going to keep your eyes foward and fixed on where you are, and where you’re going? It’s hard not to look. It’s hard not to get sucked in to the “reality” show. Listen to your soul speak and let it guide you.

There’s a big difference between a herd of cattle and a band of mustangs. You didn’t shed your skin in the year of the snake to be coralled in the year of the Fire Horse, did you? This is the time we are called on to choose paths, and everyone should choose the path most suited to who and where they are in their pilpul, that is the attempt to spirituallly reconcile the balance between being infinite and immortal with the constraints of the physical matter experience. These choices will be different for all of us, but the one constant is that you can’t outsource this work. Each of us is bound to choosing a path. Follow your gut, not the noises.

Sound Healing: What It Is (and What It Isn’t)

Sound healing isn’t about escaping your life.
It’s about helping your body regulate within it.

Here’s what’s actually happening:

Sound = vibration.
Vibration moves through fluid.
The human body is made up of roughly 60% water.

When you lie in a sound session, slow tonal frequencies interact with your nervous system. Certain rhythms can encourage the brain to shift from high-alert beta waves (thinking, planning, scanning) into alpha and theta states (relaxed, restorative, creative).

As brainwaves slow down:
• Breath naturally deepens
• Muscles soften
• Heart rate steadies
• Cortisol begins to lower
• The vagus nerve activates (your body’s calming pathway)

When that pathway activates, the body shifts from “survival mode” into “repair mode.”

That’s why people often experience:
• A heavy or floaty sensation
• Tingling in hands or feet
• Emotional release without a clear story
• Digestive sounds (a sign of parasympathetic activation)
• Clearer thinking afterward
• Better sleep that night

Nothing mystical is required for this to work.

Your nervous system already knows how to regulate.
Most of us just don’t give it the conditions to do so.

Sound creates those conditions.

It’s not about fixing you.
It’s about reducing input long enough for your body to recalibrate itself.
