📣🤸𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐑!
We're super excited for "𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘" scheduled Friday, May 1... and it just keeps getting better...
In new developments, MANY THANKS TO:
- Wild Roots Greenhouse & Market, who has stepped up as our business sponsor for our community presentation a 8:30 a.m. at the CCHS Performing Arts Center.
- And to the 𝐂𝐂 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 for voting to support this great event - not only our community session, but our day full of exclusive Central City tours for several invited media guests.
We have 6 great speakers lined up for brief but informative presentations, including:
- Mayor Tim Bolling - "What's So Great About Central City?"
- Jason Buss/Platte Peer Group VP & Pres. of Nebraska Trails Foundation -
"On the Trail of Something Special"
- Merrick Co. Historical Museum - "New Space. Old Stuff. Timeless Treasure."
- Kiki Fasbender & Suzanne Philippi - "The Performing Arts Scene in Central City"
- Visit Nebraska/State Tourism Dept. - "How Tiny, Rural, Farming Communities
Can Thrive with Tourism"

We'll have a quick breakfast in the lobby, then move to the auditorium for the program.

This event is the kick-off to 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 & 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 May 3-9.
Tourism is important to our little community, because it brings shoppers, diners and explorers who boost our economy and discover our magic...and you never know, some of them just might decide to live here one day.
✅𝑨𝑳𝑺𝑶 𝑶𝑵 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑫𝑨𝒀
We have invited a select group of media guests to join us in CC for the morning presentation and a full day of tours of highlights around town. Invited guests include travel writers, magazine and television journalists, podcasters, bloggers, YouTubers - people who specialize in featuring great businesses, attractions and destinations across Nebraska and the Midwest. So far, we have 7 confirmed media guests joining us - which is fantastic - and we expect more RSVP's.
