Each year in the fall, Moloney's holds a food drive to collect food for Thanksgiving baskets. Our generous staff, matched by the Moloney family, collected such an abundance that we were able to donate to the Saint Joseph's outreach program and the Smithtown Children's Foundation Hauppauge Chapter. If you are looking for a local place to donate, these two organizations are always accepting food donations throughout the year.

Today, starting at noon, Moloney's will be livestreaming our Holiday Hope program featuring guest speaker Mr. Thomas Petriano, Ph.D., chairperson of the religious studies department at St. Joseph's University. Our new One Room livestream enhancement allows those who cannot join us in person to attend virtually. Holiday Hope helps families manage grief through the holidays. Moloney's was delighted to sponsor and attend the Suffolk County Women's Alliance To End Food Insecurity (SCWATEFI) fundraiser. On this night alone, funds were raised to feed over 5,000 families for Thanksgiving. Since its inception in 2021, the SCWATEFI has collected 250,000 lbs of food to be distributed throughout Suffolk County.

Our original facility at 130 Carleton Avenue in Central Islip was founded by James P. Moloney in 1933. For generations, the Moloney family is known to be a caring, premium funeral service provider as well as an active member of the community. Renovated in 2018, this beautiful facility has all modern amenities as well as a coffee station in each chapel. Families travel from all over New York to our Central Islip facility, easily accessible from all major highways and the LIRR.

We understand and appreciate the diversity of this community, therefore we have Spanish-speaking professionals on hand to better serve our families.
