3 Years of Connection in Central Lake!
Join us this Thursday! We are so proud to announce the 3rd Anniversary of our Central Lake All-Recovery meeting. For three years, this community has shown up for one another, proved that connection is the opposite of addiction, and built a space where no one has to walk their path alone.

When: This Thursday
Where: Ursula House Next door to First Congregational Church Of Central Lake
Time: 7:00pm

What is an "All-Recovery" Meeting?
If you’ve never been to an All-Recovery meeting, you might wonder if it’s for you. The answer is yes.

Unlike meetings that focus on a specific substance or behavior, All-Recovery is based on the idea that there are many pathways to healing. Whether you are recovering from substance use, mental health challenges, or are a family member supporting a loved one, this space is for you.

How we welcome everyone:

Multiple Pathways: We honor all ways people find wellness—whether that’s through 12-step programs, clinical treatment, faith-based healing, or peer support.

No Stigma Zone: We focus on the solution and the future, not just the past. We are here to reduce stigma and celebrate growth.

Peer-Led Support: This isn’t a professional seminar; it’s a group of people with lived experience supporting one another.

Everyone is Invited: Allies, family members, and those just "recovery-curious" are always welcome to pull up a chair.

Why Come in Person?
While digital tools are great, nothing beats the energy of an in-person celebration. Come for the high-fives, the shared stories, and the chance to see just how strong our Central Lake recovery family has become over the last 36 months.

Let’s fill the room! We can't wait to see you there.

Navigating New Year’s Eve in recovery can be challenging due to the societal norms and pressures associated with alcohol consumption. However, it is possible to celebrate without alcohol and maintain your recovery journey. Here are some strategies to help you celebrate New Year’s Eve sober:

1. Plan Ahead: Prepare for the evening in advance to ensure you have a sober plan in place.
2. Choose Recovery-Friendly Activities: Engage in activities that align with your recovery goals, such as journaling, watching movies, or playing board games.
3. Connect with Your Support System: Reach out to your support network, whether it's through sober meetings, sponsor meetings, or spending time with sober friends.
You can find meetings online via the NewForm app https://www.newform.org/ or In the Rooms https://www.intherooms.com/home/
4. Reflect and Set Intentions: Spend time reflecting on your accomplishments and setting intentions for the new year.
5. Practice Self-Care: Take care of your mental and physical well-being to support your recovery.
6. Seek Support if Needed: If you feel tempted or anxious, don't hesitate to reach out for help. The Michigan Certified Peer Support Warmline is available 7 days a week from 10AM-2AM EST at 1-888-733-7753
