Mercury-Jupiter Square April 26, 2026
While we enter a new long-term period of time with Uranus in Gemini, Mercury squares Jupiter at 18°20’ Aries/Cancer on April 26, 2026.

Mercury squares Jupiter at least twice each year. In this current square between those two planets, it emphasizes a perception of the world in attempting to protect what we feel may be our mission and purpose with a concentration of family and feelings involved.

For us, this is a chance to prioritize what we want when we are looking at the world and deciding how to protect our families and that which matters to us. It is also about being quick in our thoughts and learning to trust our instincts.

Jupiter's role here is not just about expanding our definition of family and household, but also about what we really care about. The square between the 2 planets can bring in tension, but it is also in how we react to the tension and potential frustration that can be born from such an aspect. Can we work with it in a beneficial manner? Or do we succumb to defeating ourselves and our purpose?

What are our feelings? Do we repress them in order to do the necessary work? Do we keep them closeted because we may think they get in the way? This is a chance to cultivate more compassion for those around us regardless of ideology, nationality, ancestry or other differences. Jupiter in Cancer helps us to connect with the greater "human" family.

While this square is just one day, it is something that can be experieced for about 3 days while Mercury is racing through Aries. That period is from April 25-27.

Mercury will soon conjunct Eris and Chiron on April 30 and May 1 on its way to the sign of Ta**us on May 2.

Uranus in Gemini April 25, 2026
On March 13, 1781, Uranus was discovered by British astronomer William Herschel. Uranus was in the sign of Gemini when it was discovered, and the Colonies in America were fighting for independence from Britain. We are now entering a time of the 3rd Return for Uranus to be in Gemini since that time and April 25, 2026 marks the full return of Uranus in Gemini after the 4-month transit of Uranus in Gemini between July and Sept 2025. We're also in the Uranus Return of the USA.

The planet Uranus’ key statement in astrology is “unplanned, unpredictable and unexpected changes of great novelty.” It can also be described as a planet of embodied chaos.

In shamanic astrology, Uranus is considered a “celestial world” planet where linear time does not exist. It can connect us to the divine abode of the cosmos and all of its knowledge and wisdom.

Uranus can help us create moments of “breaking through” to our next level of the soul’s journey on Earth. But it does this through surprises in our life as subtle as an epiphany or dream or as dramatic as a lightning bolt.

There are several major themes operating in the middle world showcasing Uranus in Gemini over the past 2 ½ centuries. These are outlined below:

Communications Tech Advancements/Developments.
- Battles of propaganda & ideologies.
- Surge of energies around freedom & independence.
- Transportation technologies gaining critical purchase in societies.
- Major developments in secret / coded / encrypted communications, storing information and computer technologies.
- Major wars fought by the United States, including internal.

These themes are likely to continue into this next incarnation of Uranus in Gemini. Uranus will stay in the sign of Gemini until the 2032-33 period. There will be major aspects of Uranus with other planets over these next several years that will help colorize what Uranus brings in and helps guide humanity through the chaotic and strongly creative times.

Venus-Uranus Conjunction and Venus in Gemini
Prior to entering Gemini, Venus Conjuncts Uranus at 6:58pm PDT on April 23 at 29°53’ Ta**us. This will be Uranus' last conjunction with any planet before entering the sign of Gemini on April 25. This takes place against the backdrop of the Pleiades stars.

The Venus-Uranus conjunction reminds us of what we have to be grateful for, especially in regards to our comforts and pleasures in life. Nearly everything we have materially in our lives is due to Earth. Ta**us is symbolic of those comforts, conveniences and pleasures we may take for granted.

This conjunction is also symbolic of our values and how we value ourselves in our relationships in the world. Do we always put others above us? Or do we value ourselves first in a given relationship, including with Earth? I think for most people, we can sometimes lack valuing ourselves to our detriment. This conjunction is a chance to feel into what is right and/or out of balance in our relationships, including with the Earth and the material world. Perhaps we can work on more unique ways to engage with Earth in a balanced manner while also feeling the comforts of what Earth and others offer.

Venus enters the sign of just Gemini 2 days before Uranus enters the sign of Gemini. Venus in Gemini brings in the feminine expression of the Peter Pan archetype, a more playful, trickster-type, curious and receptive energy for humanity.

Another facet of Gemini is that of the messenger, poet and bard. Venus helps bring in a more thoughtful version of the bard and one that considers a more thorough process rather than only spontaneity.

Venus stays in the sign of Gemini until May 18, 2026.

Over the last weekend, I was at the New Living Expo and part of an astrology panel on April 18. We discussed the the year ahead and some of the bigger transits taking place.

If I had to pick the most important transit this year for the world, I would choose the Saturn-Neptune conjunction pattern. That took place back on Feb 20, 2026. While that is just a 1-day conjunction, the influence of the conjunction began in 2024 and continues into 2027. 2026 is just the center of the conjunction period.

More ripples of this conjunction will undoubtedly take place the rest of the year. The breakdown of the illusions is already happening along with the emergence of reality. The funk that civilization has been in since Neptune was in Pisces (2011) along with the beginning of the end of the illusion period in 2023 (when Saturn entered Pisces) is close to ending.

But it will take a long time to awaken to a new world already being seeded right now. The awakening period may be a multi-year initiation for humanity and consist of the confusion of who we are and what we want. Humanity's identity is on the altar and we are in a time where anything is possible, especially in the type of future we want/choose to co-create on this planet.

Currently, we are coming out of the triple conjunction between Mercury, Mars and Saturn that took place on the 19th and 20th in Aries. The separation of these planets is just now starting, especially that of Mars/Mercury with Saturn. Saturn has acted as a container for this intense Aries energy. But now we are beginning a period of release. This post-conjunction time may show us the reality of what was contained.

The Sun's ingress into Ta**us on April 20 is helpful, joining Venus already in Ta**us. This may balance Aries' kinetic energy with Ta**us' softness and desire to rest and be comfortable. Venus will then conjunct Uranus on the 23rd before entering Gemini that same day.

Mercury-Mars-Saturn Conjunction on April 19-20, 2026
We are moving into a triple conjunction in Aries with Mercury, Mars and Saturn all at 7 degrees. The exact conjunction of Mars and Saturn takes place at 07°51’ Aries on the 19th while Mercury and Mars conjunct at 08°36’ Aries on the 20th.

These 2 days reside at the heart of this Aries stellium in April. At times, Saturn can express itself as a container for other planet's energies. In March of 2020, when Mars entered the mid to late degrees of Capricorn, it later came into a conjunction with Saturn on March 31. But Saturn's presence in the late degrees of Capricorn (with Pluto and Jupiter) helped bring things to a hold across the world.

We can see some similarity with the current oil crisis and how stoppage of the flow of oil through the Starit of Hormuz is creating ripple effects through the globe.

At the same time, the Mars energy in Aries can often take the lead and sometimes overwhelm Saturn, creating opportunities for conflicts and increasing tensions. It is typically the after effects of the conjunction (once Mars and Mercury, which move faster than Saturn, transit beyond the influence of Saturn in the coming weeks that the containment ends).

Aries itself is a strongly felt energy that just wants to find its mission and go without much thought. It is instinct in action, similar to Mars. The larger stellium has been highly influential in our experience of coming to greater awareness of the divisiveness and splintered parts of humanity. In a round-about away, it may later help us find pathways to come together in the long run in the coming years.

This is a time for us to be more conscious in how we react to stressors and tensions in our life. It is a time to find our breathe and take time out to find a more healthy and constructive purpose for the overflow of Aries energy.

The New Moon on April 17, 2026 takes place at 27°28’ Aries while in conjunction with Chiron and Eris on April 17, 2026, 4:51 am PDT.

The New Moon can also be called the "dark" Moon in that we don't see the Moon for about a 3-day period due to it being too close to the Sun's rays. The ancients had a variety of ways they would interpret it but their definition of a New Moon was generally when the Moon first becomes visible after its "dark" period.

A Dark Moon is a good time to hibernate, reflect and meditate. And then when the first visible Crescent Moon in the early evening sky appears (which may be visible on the evening of the 18th), we can set a plan for the lunation until the next New Moon.

This New Moon conjuncts Eris and Chiron, helping us go inward for healing and working on speaking our soul's truth. Where has our life mission met challenges? Have we given away our power because we are unable to face the truth of it? Or have we been more emboldened to strike forth knowing we can overcome the challenges?

The Sabian Symbol, 28 Aries (always adding 1 to the degree of the astrological point) is ”A Large Disappointed Audience”. keywords include: “Adjustments of Expectations bringing realizations about what is really possible. Expecting the response of others. Walking out during a performance. Not listening to something through a lack of interest. Anticipating a different result rom what is delivered. Relying on feedback. Lines and queues of people. Criticism. The need to inspire and enthuse." (from The Sabian Oracle by Lynda Hill pg 28)

This can be interpreted as building too much into our expectations and ultimately being let down. When we create too much or overreach in our desire for something, we usually get disappointed. However, this New Moon can be one that tempers our expectations, instilling a sense of wonder of what life truly has to offer us.

At this New Moon (or Dark Moon), let's give ourselves a chance to meditate on our life path and breathe in the nature aroud us. Wellness and self-care are priorities but also being flexible and not holding high expectations. Perhaps we can reset and recharge during this time.

Moon Conjunctions in Aries on April 15
There are no shortages of activities taking place in the sign of Aries this month. The Moon enters the sign of Aries at 7:04 am PDT on April 15, 2026 and wll be in conjunction with 4 planets. Between April 15 and 17, there will be 8 celestial bodies in the sign of Aries.

The 4 planets that the Moon will conjunct on April 15 are:
Mercury 00°42’ Aries
Neptune 02°44’ Aries
Mars 04°44’ Aries
Saturn 07°24’ Aries

The Moon will then conjunct Eris, Chiron and the Sun (New Moon) on the 17th. This continues the amplification of the Aries energy in humanity's environment. With Saturn sitting in the middle of all this during this time period, it can feel like a more frustrating time.

When Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock talked about this energy (especially Mars and Saturn in Aries) on The Astrology Podcast, they shared it was like pressing on the gas and brake pedals at the same time, perhaps to the floor of the vehicle. This can certainly cause all kinds of problems if kept up for prolonged periods of time.

But it all in how we work with Aries in our lives (whether or not we have it in our natal charts or not). We will all be impacted by this on some level. Suggestions to interact with this can be in taking our time when we are needing to overcome challenges while still trusting our intincts/intuitive senses.

It is suggested we give ourselves a chance for space and awareness around us. When Aries feels limited or repressed in some fashion, it can react more agressively without much thought. So it is a chance to take some deeper breaths and work with the energy in a more constructive way to seek ways to understand the limitations present around us.

The lunar energy acts as a catalyst for all of that Aries energy, so it will absolutely be enhanced. But the Moon also connects us with our ancestors and family of origin or what we can say is our "old story". It is a chance to pursue things that help us let go of the old story we tell ourselves, perhaps with ceremony or a personal ritual we can develop.

This current phase of the Aries stellium will begin to loosen by April 21 with another spike in mid-May.

Mercury in Aries April 14, 2026
Mercury, the Messenger planet ingresses into the sign of Aries on April 14, 2026. It joins Mars, Neptune, Saturn, the Sun, Chiron and Eris all currently transiting through the sign of Aries. Then on April 15th, the Moon will enter Aries and begin conjuncting all those planets within about a 2+ day span of time.

This begins an even more intense period for humanity. Mercury symbolizes the mind and an Aries mind is all about instinct and action. An Aries mind perceives what can assist it in achieving a stated goal or perhaps simply looking to do things on their own. It is also somewhat restless, impatient and desires to be on the go.

Aries is a strong archetypal force that all about instinct and action and getting to the goal or simply the point. It is direct and can be singularly focused on what it wants. It does this through assertive, individualistic action, which can be aggressive at times.

During the time, Mercury will be in Aries, a conjunction with Mars for the 3rd time this year (and 5th in a series of 5 conjunctions – Oct 19 2025, Nov 12 2025, Jan 17 2026, March 15 2026) on April 20 at 08°36’ Pisces.

Mercury will also conjunct Neptune on April 16 and Saturn on April 20. Then on April 30, Mercury will conjunct Eris and on May 1st, conjunct Chiron. Mercury will be in the sign of Aries until May 2nd.

Mars-Neptune Conjunction April 12, 2026
Mars catches up with Neptune on April 12, 2026 at 2°39’ Aries, bringing up the 2nd major astrological event in Aries.

Mars' conjunction with Neptune typically happens about every 2 years as it does with most of the planets. This time, however, it is happening in the sign of Aries during a major stellium. Mars brings in a strong kinetic and actional force into the expression of Neptune's nebulous energy and expansive spiritual desires and letting go of reality.

This combination can imbue a foggy-like environment to the activities taking place where there are ideas of what could be happening but it turns out differently and a complete picture comes in more slowly.

At the same time, we are still in a time where there is a potency of tension and desire to do things, accomplish things and accelerate what we are trying to create and work on. And in that activity, we can become overy focused or at times too fast where we skip steps or miss critical information on our path to our mission and purpose. And with this conjunction of Mars and Neptune in Aries, we may not even know we missed those key steps.

On a postive note, this combination of planets in Aries can help one believe in something greater than themselves in what they may want to accomplish. It can fuel to one's creative energy to permeate our hearts and souls with a fiery desire to bring spirit into action.

While in the middle of all of this tension and reactive energy, the spacecraft Integrity splashed down in the water of Earth, returning from a 10-day mission in the heavens. This is an example of what an archetypal combination of Mars and Neptune in Aries. It stated as a revisioned dream that may inspire others to achieve their dreams.

Saturn Returns to Visibility on April 11, 2026
The ringed planet has been invisible to the unaided eye since around March 7th when the Sun got within 15 degrees of the planet. After a conjunction with the Sun on March 25th, Saturn will emerge in the early morning sky on April 11th at 06°52’ Aries. It will not be easy to see as Saturn will be very faint. 15 degrees from the Sun is a rule a thumb for visiblity of Saturn (along with Mars). I've attempted to see Saturn less than 15 degrees from the Sun and was not sucessful with the unaided eyes.

And this emergence is a return to a little more energetically signifcant Saturn. Whenever a planet, generally a visible one, moves within 10-15 degrees of the Sun's rays, it is in the underworld as understood in the system of shamanic astrology. This means that planet is undergoing a "death-rebirth" initiation. Saturn's emergence into the visibility and the light means some potential growth in receiving more clarity and understanding of humanity's mission in Aries.

As shared in recent posts, there is a stellium of planets in the sign of Aries. Currently, we can see Mars and Mercury in the early morning sky with a clear and generally flat horizon. Saturn's appearance will be just in time for the April 19-20 triple conjunction of Saturn, Mars and Mercury.

We can look between 40 minutes to an hour before sunrise to take in the sight of the 3 planets grouped together. Mars will be the faintest of the 3 planets and Mercury the brightest of the 3.

On April 11, I recommend attempting to find a clear, unobstructed view of the eastern horizon before sunrise in order to see Saturn rise. Over the coming weeks, Saturn (and Mars too) will slowly get brighter.

Saturn's return to visibility, joining Mercury and Mars in Aries, is a reminder that this is a tense period of time. But the planets also serve as guides and teachers for us. It is a time for us to recognize where we have limited ourselves or judged who we are. Is that really who we are? Are we allowing those limits to control us? Or are we utilizing the limits to guide us toward a more harmonious life path?

04/08/2026

We're about to enter one of the more challenging periods of the month and for the year. Mars enters the sign of Aries on April 9 and it begins a period that will go on in its first phase through the 20th.

Mars will conjunct Neptune, the Moon, Saturn and Mercury all in a period of about 8 days in Aries. The next major phase is from May 8-18, before Mars enters the sign of Ta**us on May 18th.

This doesn't mean that everything that happens during this time will be bad in nature, it just means things will be much more volitile/intense for humanity. It is interesting to note that a fragile "cease-fire" was declared on April 7 with regards to the conflict in the Middle East, but it is nowhere really near peace by any means. The tension is still there and building up again. But I also believe there is evidence that some behind the scenes, perhaps within the military, ar

However, with Mars' ingress into Aries on the 9th, it is a chance for us to take a look at how we respond/react to things instinctually and/or with fear. We can tune to see how we have felt in situations where a more assertive or aggressive approach come through.

Mars will test patience within us along with how we react without thinking things through. Of course, there are times where we do need to react/respond through instinct but other times when the thinking was necessary but wasn't utilized. Aries is on the polarity with the sign of Libra. Libra can help think about consequences and how actions may help and/or hurt others. It is also a sign that tends to be more passive and hence more peaceful (not always, but in general). Some of this energy is showing up, I believe, behind the scenes, perhaps within the military, to find a different path to accomplishing the Aries mission.

There is a chance, as Mars and Mercury get close to Saturn, beginning on the 17th, that we may have some containment, temporarily of the stronger Aries expression in the world. Saturn can help find more practical solutions, but this month is really dominated by Mars in Aries, so Saturn may have trouble stemming the Aries will and instincts.
