I’m in my 60s — and I have no intention of slowing down.

But a while back, my neck and back pain started to creep in.
Not enough to stop me completely… but enough to remind me that I’m not 30 anymore.

⚾ Preseason Baseball Screenings ⚾

Before the season starts, make sure your athlete is actually prepared for it.

On February 28th (8–11 AM) at our Easley clinic, we’re offering baseball-specific preseason screenings tailored to the demands of the sport and the position your athlete plays.

In just 30 minutes, we’ll assess:
• Mobility
• Strength & stability
• Throwing-related injury risk
• Performance limitations

Each athlete will leave with a clear scorecard outlining:
✔ Strengths
✔ Mobility or stability limitations
✔ Areas that may increase injury risk this season

From there, families can discuss optional next steps, including custom training or rehab options with our baseball rehab specialist, if it’s a good fit.

3 reasons you shouldn’t do this exercise 👀👇
(… or maybe reasons you absolutely should.)

1️⃣ You definitely don’t want a more stable shoulder.
If you prefer your shoulder to feel wobbly, unpredictable, and one bad reach away from a flare-up… avoid this one at all costs.
2️⃣ You don’t want your core + thoracic spine working together.
Rotating under load? Coordinating your ribs, spine, and hips? No thanks. Better to keep everything stiff and dysfunctional, right? 😌
3️⃣ You don’t want to build strength in the positions you actually use in real life or sport.
Pressing while rotating? Controlling multiple planes? Developing real-world stability? Sounds like way too much functional benefit.

If you do want stronger, more resilient shoulders and a core that actually supports your movement… go ahead and add this one to your program.
