With a major winter storm potentially affecting dozens of states, we recognize the concerns many have about stored milk.

Updated to add: A stand alone freezer will maintain temperature for 48 hours in a power outage if unopened. A freezer compartment within a fridge will maintain temperature for 24 hours if unopened.

this one would not whisper

It would say

instinct
survival

It would say
some days I feel powerful
some days I feel invisible
and most days I feel both at the same time

It would say
this body is stretched
tired
marked
and still capable of miracles

It would say
stop telling me to cover
stop telling me it is easy
stop telling me it does not matter

Because it does
