Happy Social Services Month!

You go above and beyond in ways that never go unnoticed, and we are so lucky to have you as part of our team. And of course, we can’t forget, all the tech support you offer everyone! Somehow you always have the answer! 😊

Loretta's experience with Sharon Care,

When Loretta first came to us, her health had been declining while living in an adult family home. She was spending much of her time alone, and it was clear she was missing something deeply important. Connection, community, and a sense of belonging.

Loretta has always been someone who thrives around others. She loves conversation, laughter, and being part of everyday life. She didn’t just need care, she needed community.

After moving to Sharon Care, everything began to change. With new friendships, daily activities, shared meals, and a caring team surrounding her, her smile grew brighter. Her energy returned. She started participating, engaging, and even encouraging others.

Today, Loretta is thriving. Watching her laugh in the dining room, join in activities, and truly feel at home reminds us why community matters so much, why we provide the care that we do.

It has been such a gift to see her health improve, not just physically, but emotionally and socially. We are so proud to be part of her journey. 💕

We will truely miss Scribbles. THANK YOU FOR SHARING HIM WITH US.

With profound sadness and very heavy hearts, The Horse Prayer shares the news that we have laid our beloved Scribbles to rest.
Scribbles lived a life of service, kindness, and sweet magic. With his gentle spirit and patient nature, he brought comfort and joy to countless people. In his young years he was shown in miniature horse shows by his breeder’s son, walking beside the boy’s wheelchair and winning several blue ribbons. Later, he was cart-trained and continued to show and win ribbons.
With The Horse Prayer, Scribbles worked closely with many children with special needs, forming connections that went beyond words and offered calm, unconditional companionship. He also faithfully visited nursing homes and hospitals, where his presence lifted spirits, softened difficult days, and brought smiles where they were needed most.
More than a therapy horse, Scribbles was a treasured member of The Horse Prayer family. He taught us about empathy, trust, and the profound impact of simply showing up with love to give. His fuzzy little body held an enormous heart, and his hoofprints are forever stamped on the lives he touched.
Scribbles will be deeply missed, but his legacy of compassion will live on in every memory, every smile, and every life he made so much brighter.
We love you, Scribs. Thank you for all you gave. 🐴💙
