Our residents got into the Thanksgiving spirit this week by crafting adorable candy turkeys! With lots of laughter, creativity, and sweet treats, this activity was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. We’re so grateful for moments like these that bring our community together.

Today we're celebrating JJ, one of our wonderful Dietary Aides here at Heritage Woods. JJ goes above and beyond everyday to make sure our residents not only enjoy delicious, nutritious meals but also feel cared for and seen. Whether its sharing a friendly smile or brightening the dining room with good humor, JJ truly makes meal time something special. We are so lucky to have you on our team JJ!

Our residents enjoyed a little Takeout treat. Fresh, hot pizza!
Everyone gathered to share good conversation, good company and everyone's favorite slices. From classic pepperoni to those who boldly got sausage and green peppers, the great topping debate was alive and well. It is such a special moment to come together for these simple joys. Looking forward to next months Takeout day!

Our Dietary Manager put our residents taste buds to the test with sampling some delicious pecan treats in preparation for our upcoming Thanksgiving celebration! Pecan pies and Pecan Praline Cheesecake....safe to say this was one "sweet" part of the job!

We had such a wonderful time at our Community Bingo event here at Heritage Woods! Residents, families, and neighbors came together for laughter, prizes, and plenty of friendly competition. Events like these remind us that community isn't just about where we live, it's about the people we share it with. Thank you to everyone who joined in on our fun!! We love hosting events that bring residents and community members together for good times and memories.

Thank you to the Centralia Junior Women's club for stopping by to visit our veterans today. They brought each veteran a token of gratitude. Our veterans have really been celebrated today and Heritage Woods is so grateful to each and everyone for making them feel so appreciated today and everyday!!

Today we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our great country, especially our Veterans right here at Heritage Woods. They have served our country with courage, sacrifice, and pride. Their dedication and strength inspires us every day.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the many local clubs, organizations and schools who joined us in celebrating our veterans. Your visits, kind words and tokens of appreciation made this day truly special. Thank you Original Centralia American Legion Post 446 for the very moving Flag Ceremony, Local DAV and Daughters of the American Revolution National Headquarters for your visits and all the letters and cards from many local schools. The personalized letters really made their day!
At Heritage Woods, we are proud to stand alongside our heroes, remembering their service and honoring their stories. Thank you to all who have served. We Salute You!

Our residents got to enjoy a delightful fall "Cooking with Ami" demonstration featuring a homemade Caramel Apple dip with graham crackers, pretzels and apple slices. Everyone got to taste test and also got a serving to take home with them. Everyone learned how easy and fun it is to make this cozy treat. Nothing brings people together like good food and great company!
