We're so excited to highlight the teachers for this year's Hawthorn Botanical Gathering on June 26 and 27 at Rhoneymeade.

Heidi Benard is offering a Distillation Workshop. Discover the fascinating process of steam distillation, a method used to extract essential oils and aromatic compounds from plants. In this interactive demonstration, participants will observe how steam gently separates volatile compounds from plant material, condenses them, and collects pure essential oil and hydrosol. Participants will also be shown practical ways to create steam distillations with common kitchen equipment.
