We were honored to help sponsor “The Greatness of Hope: A Community Night of Engagement,” hosted by NAMI of North Central Pennsylvania. Seeing so many people and organizations come together with a shared purpose - to connect, inspire hope and remind one another that none of us are alone was truly meaningful.

In honor of Social Work Month, we’re proud to introduce Cathy and share her “why.” After advocating for herself and her child through their own mental health journey, Cathy had a powerful realization: “If I can do this for us, I can do this for others.” That insight led her, midlife, to make the courageous decision to change careers and become a therapist, a passion that continues to guide her every day.
As a social worker at The Meadows, Cathy brings calm, compassion and a steady presence to individuals who may not be able to advocate for themselves. Often described as “calm,” Cathy strives to be a safe space, helping others find peace through mindfulness and self awareness.
With certifications in Mindfulness Meditation, Grief Therapy and
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), along with a degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Cathy is deeply committed to meeting people where they are. She reminds us that every day is an opportunity to lead with kindness, compassion and understanding.
