In an interview with our chaplain, Robyn, she shares that spiritual care at hospice goes beyond prayer, it’s about meeting patients and families exactly where they are.

At Compass, spiritual care supports individuals of all beliefs and backgrounds, offering comfort through meaningful conversation, presence, and connection during life’s most difficult moments.

“It’s not about having the ‘right words,’” Robyn explains. “It’s about listening, understanding, and creating space for peace.”

Because at the end of the day, care is more than physical, it’s emotional, spiritual, and deeply human 🤍

We invite you to join our 8-Week All Losses Support Group, running from April 9th through May 28th. This group offers a safe, welcoming space for anyone navigating the pain of losing a loved one. Open to all types of loss, it’s a place for connection, understanding, and the comfort of being surrounded by others who truly understand.

You are not alone in your grief, we’re here to walk alongside you.

Happy Social Worker Awareness Month! 💙

To celebrate, we treated our incredible team to not one — but two breakfasts as a small token of appreciation for all that they do.

When asked what they love most about their work, our social workers shared:

"I feel fulfilled doing this work each day, knowing that I can provide comfort and support when it’s needed most."

"I’ve always felt a deep calling to help others, and as a hospice social worker, I’m honored to walk beside individuals and families with compassion and care through life’s most difficult moments."

"After experiencing firsthand the care and compassion from hospice staff through family and friends, I felt a deep sense of gratitude."

Today and every day, we celebrate the heart, empathy, and impact of our social workers. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, compassion, and the unwavering support they provide to our patients, families, and community each and every day.

This past weeked was the Kid's Connection sponsored by The Update and it was such a meaningful event!

All of the funds raised will be donated to Camp New Dawn, with DD McCracken Home Team generously matching 100% of the proceeds.

At D.D. McCracken’s table, participants stopped by to write heartfelt notes and create beautiful worry stones for each camper attending in August 2026. It was truly special to see the community come together in such a thoughtful way.
