This morning we celebrated our Home Health & Hospice Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!It was a wonderful time connecting with our community, sharing our services, and welcoming everyone into our space. 🧡Guests also enjoyed refreshments and entered our raffle for prizes like a Barnes & Noble gift card and a gift basket! 🎁

Today, Chadron Hospital Home Health & Hospice recognizes the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our Veterans. Your service has protected the freedoms we cherish, and we are deeply grateful.

We were honored to spend time with Marion Lavern McCoy, a Veteran and patient in our care, pictured here with his son Rod and grandson Colby. Generations of strength, love, and service.

To all Veterans in our community and across the nation — thank you. We honor you today and always.

Chadron Hospital Home Health & Hospice volunteers joined Chadron State College students and staff at the “Letter to a Veteran” table — encouraging everyone to take a moment to thank those who have served. 🇺🇸
Participants could grab a card and write a note to a veteran they know, or an anonymous veteran, spreading gratitude one letter at a time. 💌

🌿 Honoring Spiritual Care Week 🌿
At Chadron Home Health & Hospice, we recognize that caring for the spirit is just as important as caring for the body. Spiritual care in hospice takes a holistic approach—supporting the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families at the end of life.
We’re grateful for Dr. Russ Seger, D.Min., our Spiritual Care Coordinator and licensed grief counselor, who offers compassionate presence, guidance, and comfort to those we serve. Whether through listening, reflection, or prayer, Dr. Seger helps individuals and families find meaning, peace, and strength through every step of their journey.
✨ Key aspects of spiritual care include:
• Addressing questions about life and death
• Providing emotional support for fear, guilt, or regret
• Supporting spiritual or religious practices as desired
• Helping individuals find peace and meaning
• Assisting with grief before and after loss
• Honoring diverse beliefs and traditions without judgment
