Happy National Barbie Day! 💖🎀

Today we celebrated in true Barbie style with a fun pink-themed treat day! Our residents enjoyed Malibu Barbie chicken with peppers and onions, pink deviled eggs, strawberry ice cream, and pink sugar cookies & brownies. It was the perfect mix of sweet treats, smiles, and a little Barbie sparkle! ✨

Life in plastic might be fantastic… but life with our residents is even better! 💕

Activity: Indoor Co****le Tournament 🎯

Story:
Our residents enjoyed some friendly competition with a fun game of indoor co****le! Laughter filled the room as participants took turns tossing bean bags and cheering each other on. The activity encouraged residents to practice hand-eye coordination, gentle movement, and teamwork while sharing plenty of smiles along the way.

Activity: Girl Scouts Cookie Visit 🍪💚

Today our residents enjoyed a very special visit from the wonderful girls of the Girl Scouts! The troop brought smiles, sweet treats, and meaningful conversation as they generously shared their famous cookies with everyone.

The girls also shared about the different badges they earn — each one representing new skills and accomplishments. From community service and leadership to outdoor adventures and entrepreneurship through cookie sales, these badges symbolize dedication, hard work, and growth. Our residents loved hearing about what each badge meant and even shared stories of their own childhood accomplishments and volunteer experiences.
