Happy Sibling Day 💕
I love my sister.
She’s my best friend, my confidante, my biggest cheerleader—and the person I can spend endless hours blabbing with.
And here’s the cool part: science backs this up.
Research consistently shows that strong, close relationships—especially with family—are one of the most powerful predictors of long‑term health and longevity. Yes, even alongside things like exercise, nutrition, and supplements. In fact, supportive relationships are linked to lower inflammation, better mental health, slower biological aging, and longer life. [pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov], [hsph.harvard.edu]
Sibling bonds are especially unique—we share history, understanding, humor, and unconditional support. Studies show that close sibling relationships are associated with greater life satisfaction, less depression, and emotional resilience across the lifespan.
So today I’m celebrating my sister—and the beautiful truth that our deepest human connections are some of the most powerful medicine we have.
Call your sibling. Laugh a little longer.
It’s not just good for the soul—it’s good for your health. 💗
Share your favorite sibling pics with us! I can't wait to see them!
