Mykka earned her master’s degree in community counseling and she is currently a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Kent State University.
She has experience working with individuals in college, adults, and families with a variety of concerns that impact daily life including depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment. Mykka also has clinical experience working in emergency/crisis and outpatient counseling in community and college settings.
She offers several different types of specialized therapy, including CBT & DBT, mindfulness, Christian counseling, culturally sensitive, trauma-focused, and more. In addition to clinical work, Mykka actively volunteers with multiple organizations, such as the Ohio Su***de Prevention Coalition for Summit County and the Ohio Counseling Association.
Mykka offers in-person appointments at our Hudson office, as well as virtual appointments.
