“Jamie, I’m scared of filler.” 😱
She hears it all the time. And she gets it.
Before she ever did filler herself, she had the same hesitation. The truth is filler is great when it is done correctly. If someone at a party asks, “What did you put in your face?” it is overdone. No one should be able to spot your cheek filler, jawline filler, or smile line filler from across the room.
At Lola’s, the goal is simple. Natural. Subtle. Uplifting.
Lip filler can be a little harder to hide, but facial filler should quietly enhance you. When Jamie finishes, she often tells patients to look at their before and after side by side. Without that comparison, you almost would not notice. That is exactly how it should be.
She is also honest about facial balancing. True full facial balancing can take four to six syringes, and that is both an investment and upkeep. Most of her patients choose one or two syringes at a time and place them strategically. If someone truly needs six syringes to get the result they want, she will tell them the truth. At that point, it may be time to consider saving for surgery instead of continuously maintaining filler.
Different areas last different amounts of time. Lips may fade sooner because you eat, talk, and drink all day. Cheek filler can last longer because it sits in a more stable area. Most modern filler brands are designed to last around a year, sometimes a little longer depending on placement and metabolism.
The moral of the story.
Filler should still look like YOU. 🥰
