It was an honor to attend the premiere of The Rise of the Mighty Oak – Reflections: 20 Years, One Vision, highlighting the remarkable resilience of Doris Voitier, Superintendent of St. Bernard Parish Public Schools, and the many individuals who worked tirelessly to reopen St. Bernard Parish schools after Hurricane Katrina.

We are grateful for trailblazers like her and all of the champions who remind us that strong schools build strong communities.
