Fifteen years ago today, Army SSGT Eric S. Trueblood took his last breath, defending our freedom. His unit was attacked in Kandahar province, Afghanistan. SSGT Trueblood was on his second tour and assigned to the 391st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, Spinelli Barracks, Mannheim, Germany. SSGT Trueblood was an EOD technician.
