November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Month! At Franklin Hospice, this month is dedicated to honoring the importance of comfort and quality of life for those facing serious illness. This year’s theme is “We See the Whole You”. A reminder that hospice and palliative care honors each person’s values, story, and goals; they see the person for who they are, not just their condition. Our devoted caregivers, clinical teams, volunteers, and staff who work tirelessly to ensure that every patient receives the highest standard of compassionate care to live every moment. We also celebrate the courage of our patients and their families, who inspire us every day. Talking about hospice and palliative care opens doors to understanding and empathy. Last night, Franklin Hospice, a Gilchrist Cares organization, was honored to be named the winner of the 2025 Community’s Choice Awards – Tri-State’s Best in the Home Health Care Services category for Franklin County.

This recognition, voted on by our local community, is a testament to the compassionate care our hospice teams provide to patients and their families every day. The true heroes are our dedicated healthcare workers who serve with heart and commitment, making a difference in the lives of those we care for.
