Volunteers play an important role in quality end-of-life care for patients dealing with a terminal illness. Franklin Hospice is currently looking for Facility Companions and Home Companions to provide emotional support, companionship, and respite as needed for patients and caregivers. Help bring comfort to grieving children with your crocheting skills. Franklin Hospice is seeking small handmade plushies to include in bereavement toolkits for children ages 3–18 who have lost a loved one. Items should fit in the palm of a hand (approximately 5–7 inches or smaller) and be appropriate for children of all ages. Thank you for helping us wrap children in comfort during a difficult time.
