RSV restricts a baby’s ability to breathe, causing wheezing and, in serious cases, bluish lips from lack of oxygen. Dr. Michael Colli (Chief Medical Officer at Keystone Health, Director at Keystone Pediatrics and Pediatrician), and Amy Colli, CRNP (Director of Keystone Health's School Based Health Center at CASHS) explain why the vaccine is important, especially this time of year. https://www.pennlive.com/opinion/2026/01/pennsylvania-parents-have-a-new-weapon-against-rsv-and-they-should-use-it-now-opinion.html

Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

His message is of special importance to Keystone Health, which was founded on the guiding principle of equality. In 1986, our CEO saw a lack of healthcare for Franklin County's agricultural workers and decided to do something about it. Three volunteers served 500 patients that first year out of her home.

40 years later, we now serve people from all occupations and walks of life, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. Keystone has grown to now have more than 700 employees, and last year over 65,400 patients received care at our facilities.

Please join us in continuing Dr. King's mission, by looking for ways that you can make a positive difference in our community and in the lives of others.

*All Keystone Health practices and programs are open for normal hours today, January 19.
