Sometimes the loudest voice in your mind is not the most helpful one.
Notice the tone of your inner dialogue. Is it harsh? Catastrophic? Critical?
Try this: ive that voice a name.
“The Critic is talking.”
“The Worst Case Predictor is loud today.”
When you name the narrator, you create distance from it.
