This foundational workshop is designed for those seeking to become supervisors as well as for those with more advanced supervision experience. The workshop will support learners in applying critical thinking skills related to their roles and functions as a supervisor. We will learn the ideal and develop applied skills for the reality of our multi-facitated responsibilities.

The contents of this workshop is not limited to professional counselors. Supervision roles and functions are extremely similar across disciplines and levels of education, licensing, and certification!

✨ Our therapists have been hard at work to bring you new groups! Yasmine Wallace, LMSW, will be starting their Shame Resilience Group on May 3, 2026!

This group offers a supportive and comfortable space for individuals who are beginning trauma therapy and would benefit from additional connection before moving into deeper work.

Participants will explore early foundations of trauma processing, including building self-esteem, strengthening emotional awareness, and gently lowering the internal walls that can limit growth.
This group is an ideal referral option for therapists who are preparing their clients for stage 2 trauma work. Members are invited to come as they are and practice using their voice in a space that centers safety, support, and shared experience.

"Distress Tolerance: How to Find Your Peace in Difficult Times" presented by Jude Powell, LMSW
In this course, Jude will explore what stress is and how to work through it. He understands that stress is unavoidable and overwhelming. Throughout the time of the course, Jude will explore what stressors exist and how to build up tolerance to it. Jude will teach 5 distress tolerance skills: radical acceptance, STOP, TIPP, IMPROVE the Moment, and Wise Mind ACCEPTS. Folks who attend this class will not only learn a thing or two but walk away with some tools to build a life worth living.

More and more often, supervisees are seeking out supervisors who share identities, communities, values, and other identity-based alignments. This pattern may create complexities within the supervisory relationship, including transference and countertransference, privacy, boundary distortions, and more. This workshop aims to provide supervisors with some much-needed tools to support critical thinking, relationship negotiations, boundaries, and documentation.

🌸 A new group is on its way to you! We are excited to announce that Sofia Siraj, MS LPC, NCC, will be facilitating a Virtual Befriend Your Body Group starting April 28, 2026!

Befriend your body at any size is a supportive, affirming coaching group designed for plus-size folx who are ready to build a kinder, more respectful relationship with their body, without shrinking, fixing, or “earning” worth.

In this group, we will gently but intentionally unlearn diet culture and diet industry myths, unpack internalized fatphobia, and explore how systems of oppression (including racism, ableism, heternormativity, and sizeism) shape our body image experiences. We honor that body image is not one-size-fits-all, and that your relationship with your body is deeply personal, political, and shaped by your lived identity.
