More and more often, supervisees are seeking out supervisors who share identities, communities, values, and other identity-based alignments. This pattern may create complexities within the supervisory relationship, including transference and countertransference, privacy, boundary distortions, and more. This year, our team showed up for clients, community, each other, and ourselves in big and small ways. Here is a snapshot of what we made together.

🏳️‍⚧️ Supported trans, q***r, neurodivergent, chronically ill, and marginalized communities on and off the clock

"For Partners of Trans/Non-Binary/Gender Expansive People" facilitated by Tonya Keith, Certified Somatic S*x Coach, ABS & AASS Somatic S*xologist is a coaching group open to folks nationwide who are in need of support in a place that centers the experience of the partner, not the person transitioning.

Share the joys and challenges faced by partners of transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals, including celebrations, intimacy, fear, grief and loss, myths, exploration, curiosity, family impact, redefining identities, and more.

This closed group is a unique opportunity to hold space for others (and have space held for you), build skills, share resources, and practice more grounding and centering tools in a safe space.

🖥️ New Workshop to round out October with! Technology in Clinical Supervision: Telehealth and Beyond with Dr. Mitchell Toomey🖱️

This workshop explores how technology can be effectively integrated into clinical supervision, with considerations for both opportunities and challenges. Participants will learn about the wide range of tools available, from videoconferencing platforms to supervision management systems and asynchronous methods. Ethical and legal considerations such as confidentiality, informed consent, and boundary management will be addressed, with guidance from ACA and ACES standards. The workshop also emphasizes strategies for strengthening supervisory presence online..
