Zen River Spa is seeking one emotionally mature, grounded massage therapist to join our boutique healing space.

We are not a high-volume chain.
We are not transactional.

We are intentional.

This role is for a therapist who:

• Values calm professionalism
• Protects the energy of shared spaces
• Is punctual and dependable
• Maintains strong personal boundaries
• Takes pride in consistent, excellent work
• Prefers steady structure over drama

We provide:

• Fully furnished treatment room
• Established client base
• Booking & payment systems
• Peaceful, elevated environment
• W2 employment

Compensation: Competitive hourly/commission structure + tips
(Details discussed during interview)

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience preferred but not required
• Illinois license in good standing
• Reliable availability

I’m running some last minute Christmas errands and feeling so fortunate that I have the opportunity to give my kids (and my dogs) the magical holidays that my parents always created (and continue to create!!) for my brothers and me.

This year, thanks to all of your support for my little business in the corner of downtown, I was able to buy most of my gifts at other small, locally-owned businesses. That means the gifts I’m giving this season all have a little more soul, more intention, and some really good vibes behind them. I feel amazing about every single gift I’m giving.

My kids and family stalk my pages, so I’ll have to make a post-Xmas list of all the businesses that contributed to my holiday spirit this year!

Happy holidays and merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates. And to all of you, please accept my sincere, humble gratitude for helping me build this beautiful life for my family. 💫

I took a short walk around downtown today. The first breath of cold air actually shocked my lungs lol. But after that, the contrast of the cold air against the bright sunshine was so invigorating and really energized me for the rest of my day!

I feel like stepping outside to go home tonight is not going to be as fun. 😬 But I’m trying my best to enjoy winter and embrace all the weather this winter.

My baby girl is 21. Sage still has the same goofy, creative, badass, childlike energy she’s always had. She’s channeling it hard into training at the boxing gym 7 days a week. In fact we went out for her 21st birthday last night and didn’t even drink because she had to be at boxing at 6am. 😂
