Investing in our leaders is not only a priority—it’s a real joy. We kicked off our leadership retreat with Dustin Krause and Jasmine Godia, who led a thoughtful presentation and discussion on the book: Joyspan by Dr. Kerry Burnight.
We wrapped up with Becca Guyette, guiding a practical brainstorming session focused on implementing excellence across our organization.
It was a meaningful time with great people, united in our mission to inspiring one another—and our residents and members—to live their best lives.

Thanks for visiting us, Andrea! We loved sharing our story and learning more about the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation!

It was a pleasure for HICF Director of Scholarships and Grants Andrea Gerhard to spend time today with the Lindsey Life team and learn more about their passion for supporting older adults in our community.

Andrea appreciated the opportunity to connect with Mike Berkes and Laura Edwards and learn more about their plans as they prepare to launch their Adult Day Center in Decatur.

We are always encouraged by nonprofit organizations leading with compassion, dignity, and care, and we look forward to welcoming Lindsey Life as they begin this important work locally.

We had a wonderful time hosting the Interfaith Alliance C-U in our Assisted Living & Memory Care building Wednesday. They got to hear from a panelists of community experts on aging from: CRIS Healthy Aging of Champaign County, AtHome Home Care & Home Nursing, Circle of Friends Adult Day Center, Prairie Winds of Urbana, Aging Services of Champaign County, and Advocates for Aging Care. After nearly three decades of serving the community, Circle of Friends Adult Day Center has officially become part of Lindsey Adult Day Services. This transition follows the retirement of Kathy Rhoads, founder of Circle of Friends, who has provided essential services to older adults since March 1997.

"Circle of Friends has been a trusted resource in our community," said Deb Reardanz, President & CEO of Lindsey Communities. "We are honored to carry forward Kathy Rhoads’ vision, ensuring continued high-quality care while introducing new opportunities for engagement and support."

Lindsey Adult Day Services and ClarkLindsey are subsidiaries of LindseyCommunities.

The transition will bring:
Expanded programs and services to enhance cognitive, social, and physical well-being.
