Our Friday Fashion Seekers visited The Perfect Pair / 121 Coffee Run in Warrensburg, and this visit has a special connection. During a recent stop, we were warmly welcomed by Beth, the owner’s mom. Before we left, she invited us to help decorate coffee sleeves for the shop.

Since then, the creativity has been flowing in our breakroom, with people coloring sleeves and adding their own personal touch. We can’t wait to see them in use and share a little extra joy with the community!

We’re grateful to have hosted the Growing Together Art Show at The Crow at 110 as part of the Boneyard Arts Festival. Thank you to the talented artists who shared their work and to everyone who stopped by to support inclusive creativity. It was a meaningful weekend of art, connection, and community.

The Positivity Committee created care bags, this has been a multi-step project: co-leaders created the idea and shopping list, they then shopped for the bags. Co-leaders cut out kind messages to add to the bag. Later that day, we packed the care bags! The bags have been donated to C-U at Home.🫶

The “Growing Together” Art Show starts today! Join us at The Crow at 110 on Friday and Saturday, April 10 and 11. Opening reception is today (Friday) from 6 to 8 PM and features items from local artists as part of the Boneyard Arts Festival. Come see us Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, too! We were saddened to hear of the recent passing of our friend Barb, a dedicated advocate for children and the disability community. She devoted her career and her heart to supporting others. Her impact on our community, from her leadership on the Disability Resource Expo to her service on the Champaign County Developmental Disability Board will be felt for years to come.

We are grateful for her unwavering commitment and the many lives she touched. She will be missed.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Art Supply Drive. From paints and coloring books to brushes and markers, your generosity filled our shelves and opened the door for new ideas, self-expression, and joy.

These supplies will be used by the individuals we support to explore their creativity, build confidence, and share their unique perspectives with the world.

Early Intervention and Early Childhood families in Champaign County are invited to participate in a Community Connection Event on April 18 focused on building support, sharing resources, and fostering meaningful connections among families. The session will feature a conversation centered on parent mental health and support, along with opportunities to learn about local resources, connect with other families, and ask questions in a safe and welcoming space.
