The team of instructors met in Champaign for days of learning and collaboration this week!

What an incredible time of inspiration and exploration.

We toured the one-of-a-kind DRES facility and Jump Medical Simulation Lab at the University of Illinois. We worked on ideas to update the seminar manuals. We learned new techniques and practiced dynamic palpation skills. Most importantly the team got together to discuss best practices for bringing this wonderful work to all the amazing massage therapists we teach.

The antlantoaxial joint is made for rotation. About 50% of cervical rotation happens at the C1-C2 joint!

If you have clients who have rotational distortions or pain when turning their head, obliquus capitis inferior should be on your list of suspects to investigate.
