We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our residents who is making her voice heard at the state level! 👏
Anita recently testified in front of both the Senate and the House committees, advocating for changes to Minnesota liquor laws to allow happy hours in assisted living communities. Following her testimony last week, she quickly became a viral sensation across the internet—capturing hearts and sparking important conversations far beyond our community.
At our community, we believe this topic matters because residents deserve the same opportunities for social connection, celebration, and personal choice that they’ve always had. Small moments—like gathering for a happy hour—can have a big impact on overall well-being and sense of community.
