Not gonna lie......today was hard. My dads cancer is progressing and starting to take its toll. There were a lot of tears today as we hugged him alot in his bed ( more then he probably liked but we needed them). He is very tired, sleeps a lot. Came out long enough to do his traditional before dinner prayer. We had some smiles today being the first holiday we have spent together since last summer, but definitely more tears. Not sure how to tread this waters. On the bright side we celebrated Easter and the birthdays of 3 awesome people. Dylan is 17, Brooklyn is 19 and Andre is 45🐰❤🎂🥺.

Update on my dad!! My last update I informed everyone his tumor had doubled in size and also had spread to his spine. He had a virtual appointment with his Oncologist on Tuesday to see what treatment options are available to him. Unfortunately there is nothing else they can do for him 🥺🥺. Mom will do her best to keep him eating and keep him as healthy as she can. Whether he has weeks or months we will love him and be by his side the entire time. We are truely heart broken as a family......we all love you so much dad and you fought so damn hard. You are truly a tough son of a bitch (his words). I hope and pray God let's you stay here a long time ❤❤.......cannot imagine life without him!!

So...they moved my dads scan up a few days because it was so nice out this week and next week is suppose to be cold. He had his scan on Tuesday and his Oncologists Assistant called him yesterday. His tumor has grown 🥺🥺. It went from 2.3 cm to 5.1 cm. He also has a new tumor on his spine (L4). He still has his virtual appointment with his Oncologist on the 26th to see if there are any possible experimental treatments happening at the Mayo. I don't have words anymore, he has fought so hard.....just pray!!

My Dad will be having a scan done on January 19th to see how the cancer has reacted to no treatment. He has a Dr. appt. with his Oncologist on the 26th of January so will update when I find out the great news!!! Keep Praying!!!

UPDATE: As you all know my dad did not go to his scan because he wasn't feeling good. He still kept his appt with his Dr. on Friday to discuss things. He has decided to stop all treatment. We all knew the time would come when his body just couldn't take any more of the poison. He battled a long time....over 4 years. Very proud of him. We are all sad and will cherish the amount of time God has left for him. Please keep him in your prayers!!

UPDATE: He did not go to his scan.....he wasn't feeling good. He is still meeting with his Dr. On Friday so I will update with any info he gets on Friday!! Thank you all for the continued prayers, our family appreciates every single one of them❤❤

Tomorrow is scan day for my dad Tony Daher. Please pray for stable scans, relief from feeling ill and pain!! Ask to give him the desire to eat more and stay healthy during this scary time of many winter illnesses!!
