Perimenopause can feel like a rollercoaster of emotions.
One moment you’re energized and happy…

The next moment you’re so exhausted you want to hide from the world.

This video shows my real struggle.

I was living with anxiety, depression, and crushing fatigue that didn’t match the life I wanted to live.

My doctor handed me an antidepressant, but the real issue was that I was in perimenopause.

That realization changed everything.

I dove into learning about functional medicine and slowly started changing how I lived.

One habit at a time. I focused on eating more real, whole foods.

Adding in more daily movement and getting good, consistent sleep.

And learning how to minimize stress instead of just pushing through it.

Over time, my energy returned and my depression lifted. I started to feel like myself again.

My transformation inspired me to help other women struggling in perimenopause do the same, and I became a board-certified functional medicine health coach.

Because I knew I never wanted another woman feeling lost, dismissed, or having to talk their perimenopausal journey alone the way I did.

For years, women were told HRT was dangerous… and many of us suffered in silence because of it.

But the science is finally catching up. HRT never deserved the fear it’s carried for the past 20+ years.

The FDA has officially removed the black-box warning on HRT, meaning women can finally stop being scared by outdated info and start getting the support they actually need.

If your hormones feel out of control or you’ve been brushed off by a provider, this news matters.

HRT is now recognized as safe for most healthy women and can be incredibly supportive in perimenopause and early menopause. And when you pair it with lifestyle habits like good sleep, real food, stress management and movement…it can be truly life-changing.

At 41, everything changed for me, and not in a good way.

Out of nowhere, I was hit with:

😵‍💫 anxiety that made zero sense
😣 moods that felt like a rollercoaster ride
🌫️ brain fog so thick I thought I was heading toward early dementia

My doctor called it “mom stress” and handed me an antidepressant.

But the real story?

I was in perimenopause, and no one even brought it up.

So I went searching, researching, reading, experimenting, and finally found answers through a functional medicine approach. Once I started giving my body what it actually needed, everything shifted.

Here’s what helped me get my life back:

I didn’t know what was wrong with me. I was anxious and sad for no reason I could see.

I was handling life pretty well… and then out of nowhere, BAM! Full-blown anxiety and fatigue.

Every day things felt overwhelming. I was exhausted, irritable, and just felt off.

When I went to my doctor (which was anxiety-provoking in itself), I just cried and said, “I have no idea what’s wrong with me.” He offered me a prescription for an antidepressant, and I took it.

But it didn’t help. Deep down, I knew something else was going on.

That’s when I discovered perimenopause was behind it all. And once I learned how to support my body and hormones, everything changed—my mood, my energy, and peace of mind.

Now, I help women over 40 do the same. Because you don’t have to live in survival mode. You CAN feel calm and like yourself again.
