Educational therapy is a specialized, individualized approach that blends academic support with therapeutic strategies to help students who experience challenges with attention, executive functioning, learning differences, or core academic skills.
Rather than focusing only on what a student is learning, educational therapy focuses on how they learn. Educational therapists work to strengthen skills such as organization, planning, reading, writing, math, and self-advocacy while addressing the underlying barriers that impact learning success.
The goal is to help students build confidence, independence, and sustainable learning strategies that support long-term academic and personal growth — both in and outside of the classroom.
