The Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona (DCFA) is a non profit all volunteer organization dedicated to fighting cancer through education and early detection. The DCFA focuses on Breast, Prostate and Skin cancers screenings at no charge to those without medical insurance.

It's our absolute pleasure to honor the doctors in our community that are having a lasting impact on fighting cancer and providing the education and support that patients need. Dr. Wendt is absolutely one of those doctors and we couldn't be more proud to honor him this year with the Edgar H. Hernandez Humanitarian Award.
