The American Association for Medical Education and Information (AAMEI®) is a not for profit 501 (c)(3) organization focusing on the development of educational programs for (allied) health professionals. The American Association for Medical Education and Information (AAMEI®) is a not for profit 501 (c)(3) organization focusing on the development of educational programs for (allied) health professionals, including physicians, surgeons but also nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals, across the continuum of undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education (CME). The organization focuses on:
- Improving and expanding medical education programs, thereby providing physicians with up-to-the-minute clinical information in the ever-changing field of medical science; and
- Developing programs to educate the public on healthcare-related issues. As a charitable not for profit 501 (c)(3) organization the American Association for Medical Education and Information is committed to provide accredited and non-accredited educational tools, delivered both live and digitally, designed help (allied) health professionals to better understand the needs of their patients and fulfill their primary mission of better care for their patients. The organization aims to have a significant impact on continued medical education and, ultimately, on the quality of healthcare by prioritizing educational concepts that offer a fundamental advance in understanding of relevant issues, across all aspects of health professional education.
