It’s getting closer! Please put the date on your calendar for the rescheduled “The Not So Fall Carnival” at Unhooked Recovery on Saturday, February 7th. Please know that any and all P.A.W.S.S. fundraising events count towards the two events that all P.A.W.S.S. Graduates are required to attend each year in order to renew your certification and stay current with your training. We hope to see you there!

SUNDAY’S SPOTLIGHT: BJ and Larry

Larry and BJ have been selected as the Service Dog Team to be spotlighted this week. Larry, a Marine Veteran, and his service dog, BJ, defied many obstacles that could have changed the trajectory of their lives. Thanks to his amazing daughter, Lost Our Home Pet Rescue, and P.A.W.S.S., Larry and BJ are a fully certified and thriving team! ❤️🐾🎉

Ryan and I had the pleasure of spending a big chunk of time with Larry and BJ yesterday at an amazing fundraising Gala for LOH and to see his life continually progress in a positive direction fills our hearts with gratitude and pure joy. Thank you, Larry, for trusting others when it was unimaginably impossible for you and for giving life a chance. Look at all the doors that continue to open for BJ and you! You defied gut wrenching challenges, and we are so thankful that you took that entire Lemon Tree of challenges and continue to make lemonade day after day. Thank you for finding P.A.W.S.S. and for being a part of our pack. We love you and are beyond proud of the work you have continued to put in on a daily basis to be where you are today. 🇺🇸🐾💜🎉🫶

UPDATE on Doyle from his wife, Karen:

Good morning! Thank you all for the love and support! Just wanted to do a quick update on Masa. He is up to the chair with some pain but otherwise doing good. He is going to walk with PT later this morning . 🥰

UPDATE: Doyle made it through his Heart Surgery just fine. He is now breathing on his own and is being given medication for pain. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers! ❤️‍🩹🫶
