But we have 15.3% fewer doctors delivering babies than we did 10 years ago.

Let that sink in.

Is Arizona’s maternal healthcare infrastructure keeping up with our growth?

When there are fewer physicians:
• Wait times increase
• Rural access shrinks (sometimes to zero)
• Patient loads grow
• Burnout rises

Growth without workforce growth is not sustainable and maternity care is already showing the cracks, not just in Arizona but nationwide.
