My name is Jared Countess and at the age of 10 I weighed 200lbs and was labeled clinically obese. I struggled with my weight, my self worth and finding direction almost my entire life. It wasn't until I found a fit and healthy lifestyle that I truly gained self confidence. When I started to help others find themselves through being physically fit and mentally healthy that I found self worth

It wasn't until I found a fit and healthy lifestyle that I truly gained self-confidence. When I started to help others find themselves through being physically fit and mentally healthy that I found self-worth. Through my own experience I have learned building self-confidence is not easy. So, one of my passions with my career is assisting others to find their self-worth, confidence and finding their own identity. I find that many simply struggle because they do not know the way, rather than lacking desire or drive. After having my own obese issues, diet issues, social unacceptance and overall appearance and self-confidence issues, fighting is the only option. I have also learned having a great support team around you can increase and fast track this for each client I am privileged to work with. I take pride on the referral business I have built and continue to create through current and past clients. It is human nature to help each other and this is a critical part of my being and my WHY with my business. Helping others whether they deal with extreme cases of obesity, diet, overall health or dealing with professional athletes get to the next level, my goal is my client’s goal. However, I create the correct and healthy path to improve overall health, fitness and getting them back on the right track and breaking bad habits, bad form and overall years of physical abuse. The fitness industry is full of myths, magical supplements, short cuts, that beat yourself into the ground mentally and emotionally which set you up for FAILURE. I have tried every method and what I have found are short cuts, and promises that again lead to failure. There is no short-cut to success. This is no different when it comes to your health and fitness. Hard work, diet while enjoying and building your confidence will always be more successful than any “magic pill”. The real key to life achieving fitness goals is blending workouts with your diet in the proper way. What I have also discovered through many years and many hours of research is there is no ONE method. Knowing each client, their individual diets, body type, gene, daily routine and overall DNA allows me to set them up for success. When my clients succeed, I succeed. For example, a professional sprinter will have a completely different workout than a marathon runner. Diet, exercise, weights, sleep habits and overall lifestyles will be completely different. Also, believe it or not, men and women are built very different, their hip alignment for example must be recognized and treated individually. As I increase my knowledge and clientele, this allows me to continue to grow in my overall knowledge and education. I pride myself in this continued education and growing my own knowledge as life, technology, medicine and fitness continues to progress. I enjoy the constant challenge of keeping on the cutting edge of fitness and how I can continue to improve for myself and each of my clients. Jared Countess

Shoulder Pain: Connecting the Hip to Fix

Physical Therapy has a stopping point both in practice and quite frankly education

You have to understand our Dr.'s are trained to take you from a very bad place to a livable space.

It's not a Wellness/Optimization Industry

It's a get you back going space and unfortunately even the schools are funded by Big Pharma and Insurance Agencies

The goal is to keep you alive not teach you to thrive

Physical Therapy has taken her as far as it could to getting back to doing all the things after a Broken Arm years ago.

But the shoulder still lacks mobility and makes certain movements impossible, painful or dangerous.

Science acknowledges healthy ranges of motion and much more when it comes to how humans functions.

What is often overlooked outside of the area of Structural Integration and concepts of Tensegrity is...

The Body must maintain a Tensional Homeostatic Point

This means there's a range for intramuscular tension to maintain open and free movement throughout your structure.

You see the body is one big suspension/tension system

This means no single part of your body fights gravity alone if the body can help it.

It means impact is spread like the difference between dropping a hammer on a plate vs a bed.

The bed like your body disperses the force of the hammer.

Or...

How a bird can disperse enough air to lift itself off the ground or how some insects can lift multiple times their weight

Or...

How man can stand upright!!!

Tensional Balance, Froce Dispersion these are the Keys.

I will keep using math and physics terms when speaking about the body and formulas are coming.

Balancing Tension Makes Movement Safe: Push Up

Is Motion Always Lotion?

Is All Movement Medicine?

The Answer to both of these questions is a resounding, No!

But...

What Makes Movement Unhealthy?

In truth this is my job

Making Movement and Movements Healthy

Why?

Because "Motion is Lotion"

"If You don't use it, You lose it!"

Intramuscular Balance

This is the Key to Longevity

It involves hydration, diet, and movement...

But most importantly it means creating a certain balance between the muscles that move your body

Understanding how the entire body spread tension and transfers external forces to create balanced powerful movement.

Total Body Tension - How Problems in the Body Relate

Your Feet are connected to your Head and Neck

How? I'm sure that's the question most are asking

Well Understanding the How is *how* we can effectively assess, treat and eliminate

This is from my stories which is where I showcase most of the work I do with clients

Because there's are many connections between the head and feet I do not post many generic fixes!

However in my stories you will see the ways I erase dysfunction and improve the balance of my clients bodies

Joe was looking at having a spinal fusion and disc replacement a little over 2yrs ago now.

While we eliminated his back pain within a few months

The underlying disruptions to his neuromuscular system were still present

This effectively hindered Joe's ability to progress

As he Improves in Strength, Balance & Coordination many of these discrepancies must be erased before they get *worse* (improve their dysfunction, 🤣 ).

For instance before Joe's low back went out he had years of chronic neck pain.

That tension eventually worked it's way into Joe's low back and shut him down

Now we're dealing with how this original neck pain was/is tied to Joe's hips and the muscles that connect to him.

Body Balance is Based on Tension Relationships

This is the huge error of biomechanics

There is an underlying tensional relationship between all areas of the body.

This means every joint is linked to every other joint and changes in one creates a change (minor or large) in every other.

The body is a unit

Your Muscles and Bones perform a Symphony each time you move

Each muscle, tendon, ligament and bone plays a part in the concert that is your daily life.

Muscular Tension and Balanced Imbalances

What's the Ultimate Truth?

Total Body Tension is Always Balanced!!!

What?

How can this be?

Well in order for you to stand, move, breathe, etc... Tension and pressure throughout the body as a whole must be balanced!

As we move Tension disbuses/travels as muscles clench to create movement.

*As one muscle clenches another relaxes*

Human Balance is Based on Muscle Activation Patterns and Communication!!

All of this finds it's basis in the bodies fascial systems.

Remember even your bones are covered in fascia
-
Trigger Points or Myofascial Units! are the resistors and transistors of the human electrical system
-
Fascia itself is responsible for creating and transferring electrical charges through the body (pezio-electric effect)
-
As these charges can not transfer, reroute or disburse effectively the system becomes imbalanced.

Through balancing out charges/tension we can move the body to balance (the electrical impulse or stagnation keeps muscles tense and active).

Understanding where and what blockages in charges or transfer of charge are throwing off the body is first step in the R.A.S. System.

Train for Function and the Mirror Will Come

After over a decade in this industry and 20yrs dedicated to improving my personal health.

If you train to feel good and move good. You will look good as long as you eat for the body you want.

This does not mean chronic undereating. It means eating for tissue repair, recovery, muscle building and at times fat loss.

It does mean prioritizing your joints health. Because any car with a big engine and poor suspension is bound to crash hard at some point.

Keep your suspension (joints) healthy, your chasey in alignment and you can upgrade the engine almost at will.

Treat your body like everything else in your life.

However, as you age recognize that the car gets harder to turn, harder to handle at speed.

So don't focus on going faster, instead...

Focus on making this life journey as smooth a ride as possible.

Keep those joints healthy!
