My name is Jared Countess and at the age of 10 I weighed 200lbs and was labeled clinically obese. I struggled with my weight, my self worth and finding direction almost my entire life. It wasn't until I found a fit and healthy lifestyle that I truly gained self confidence. When I started to help others find themselves through being physically fit and mentally healthy that I found self worth

It wasn't until I found a fit and healthy lifestyle that I truly gained self-confidence. When I started to help others find themselves through being physically fit and mentally healthy that I found self-worth. Through my own experience I have learned building self-confidence is not easy. So, one of my passions with my career is assisting others to find their self-worth, confidence and finding their own identity. I find that many simply struggle because they do not know the way, rather than lacking desire or drive. After having my own obese issues, diet issues, social unacceptance and overall appearance and self-confidence issues, fighting is the only option. I have also learned having a great support team around you can increase and fast track this for each client I am privileged to work with. I take pride on the referral business I have built and continue to create through current and past clients. It is human nature to help each other and this is a critical part of my being and my WHY with my business. Helping others whether they deal with extreme cases of obesity, diet, overall health or dealing with professional athletes get to the next level, my goal is my client’s goal. However, I create the correct and healthy path to improve overall health, fitness and getting them back on the right track and breaking bad habits, bad form and overall years of physical abuse. The fitness industry is full of myths, magical supplements, short cuts, that beat yourself into the ground mentally and emotionally which set you up for FAILURE. I have tried every method and what I have found are short cuts, and promises that again lead to failure. There is no short-cut to success. This is no different when it comes to your health and fitness. Hard work, diet while enjoying and building your confidence will always be more successful than any “magic pill”. The real key to life achieving fitness goals is blending workouts with your diet in the proper way. What I have also discovered through many years and many hours of research is there is no ONE method. Knowing each client, their individual diets, body type, gene, daily routine and overall DNA allows me to set them up for success. When my clients succeed, I succeed. For example, a professional sprinter will have a completely different workout than a marathon runner. Diet, exercise, weights, sleep habits and overall lifestyles will be completely different. Also, believe it or not, men and women are built very different, their hip alignment for example must be recognized and treated individually. As I increase my knowledge and clientele, this allows me to continue to grow in my overall knowledge and education. I pride myself in this continued education and growing my own knowledge as life, technology, medicine and fitness continues to progress. I enjoy the constant challenge of keeping on the cutting edge of fitness and how I can continue to improve for myself and each of my clients. Jared Countess

Joint Position Dictates Neurology: Part 3 Head Position

How your joints are positioned is a key signal your body uses to prepare or ramp up certain muscles for activation.

In this series I am breaking down how joint position affects and is indicative of neurological activation patterns.

Based on positioning we can discover what muscles fire first, what muscles fire the most and what underlying patterns are evident in the person's nervous system.

This becomes keenly important in bringing the individuals nervous system back to balance.

Injuries Create Systemic Changes

Often when injuries linger or pain becomes chronic after an incident.

It's not because the tissue that was damaged has not healed

The pain is due to overall changes to the systems that muscle is a part of or systems the damaged muscles helps to balance out.

Therefore improving and fixing primal patterns is only part of the fix.

In order to fix we must understand and repair the systems that muscle belongs too and changes to the systems that took over.

In Dr. Andreo Spina uses the phrase

"Make Things Work Nice"

This is an homage to the principle that in order for a whole to function properly the parts of that whole must function as well alone.

Learning The Clean: Athleticism, Hip Drive, Glute Development

Sprinting, Jumping, Throwing!!!!

Cleans and other explosive movements are great for developing speed, coordination, power and lower body development.

In this vid with I am teaching her the basics of the Hang Clean.

The Clean has 5 Phases

Here we are focusing on the middle 2

The 2nd Transition Pull - (Triple Extension* this means extending through the Hips, Knee, Feet and Pulling the Elbows up and back

The 3rd is catch. Shifting those elbows under, dropping into a squat and catching the bar.

We are not doing full catches yet. But I am excited for Star's progress and what I believe these changes will do to her glute development.

Part 2: Neurology & Hand Position

Changes in position both static and moving alternating how your brain is speaking to your muscles.

In movement we call this Neurokinetics

In this video I simply call it Neurology, specifically how your neuromuscular system functions within the fascial web.

The fascial web could also be called the neurokinetic web

Regardless this complex system sense changes in joint Position and changes the neurology or neuromuscular activation patterns of the individual.

This is Science Fact and becoming more and more solid and we'll known each day.

Trigger points are junctions or transistors in this neurokinetic web, dictating the next stop or maximum output of neurokinetic forces and neurological signals.

Using this understanding we can change the way we think about healing the machine we call the Human Body.

ICE must be held accountable!

All Law Enforcement Agencies are beholden to the laws of this country and subject to prosecution and judgement.

ICE can be no different

No group can have free reign to do what they want & kill whoever disagrees with them, not in this country.

No Knee; Then No Knee Flexion

Complications post a Knee Replacement left my client Michael with no knee

After months of having no knee and waiting for inflammation and infection to go away.

Michael final knee replacement didn't go so well either

Basically his knee did not/forgot how to bend after all of this.

This was 2yrs ago and Michael has been slowly losing knee flexion over the past year or so.

Our goal is to reverse this over several session.

Above you'll see a video from our first 2 session

Along with a brief explanation of how this process will look.

Muscles must be Lengthened (Released)

Strengthened and Retaught how to bend the knee (Activate in Sequence)

And the knee must be slowly bent (Stretch)

I believe Michael's knee will regain at least 90deg of flexion if not a reliable/standard 120deg.

How We View Anatomy Needs to Change!

Fascial Lines Link muscles together in a web or fascial coating.

Joint Position and Your Brain!!: Neurology of the Human Body Series

Position Dictates Neurology

The Position of your Joints will dictate the order and intensity with which muscles fire

In itself this seems pretty self explanatory

But how can we use it?

Obviously for bodybuilding we can prorit8ze parts of the body over others, by changing the angles of lifts

But What If?

You used angles and position to help turn down or release certain muscles or to turn on muscular pathways!

In truth we are already doing this, with one exception!

Many are only thinking about improving a single muscle without thinking of the system it's connected to.
