Premier Birth Center Chantilly Freestanding birth center in Chantilly, Virginia. We are a nationally-accredited birth center in Virginia that offers waterbirth and VBAC.

Premier also offers home birth options for Virginia families within an hour radius. Welcome to Premier Birth Center! Here you will find a treasure trove of resources, information and community of support for your journey through pregnancy and birth. The cornerstone of Premier Birth Center is our team of midwives, both Certified Professional Midwives and Certified Nurse Midwives. Midwives are experts in out-of-hospital birth and we are very proud to be able to say that collectively, the midwives of Premier Birth center have helped thousands of families give birth at home, birth center and hospital settings. We provide midwifery model prenatal care, labor, birth, newborn and postpartum care through 6 weeks after birth. Preconception and well woman gynecologic care are now available as well. Your labs and ultrasounds are done in our beautiful and comfortable rooms. You will also find that we are as passionate about your whole body, mind and spirit wellness as we are about birth. We have classes and workshops galore. We offer chiropractic care, pediatric care with our Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, lactation consulting, well-woman visits, and more! As midwives, we are passionate about keeping the whole family healthy as well as helping women birth as they are designed to, naturally, with loving support, and in their own way. Sometimes babies don't sleep in their appointments for us to do the hearing screen and we have to catch them when and wherever they do sleep! Even if that's in the hallway on the floor! Our Story

Premier Birth Center offers home births and birth center births with Midwives. The birth centers are accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers, and is the only accredited birth center in Virginia to offer water birth and VBAC. Premier Birth Center is conveniently located in Chantilly and Wi******er, Virginia. In case of an emergency, there are two local EMS/Rescue Squads within 2 miles of the birth center. Premier Birth Center is about 15 minutes from the nearest hospital. Premier Birth Center is a special place for your baby to be born. Your team of support at the birth center will help you every step of the way. Families can relax knowing we’ve thought through all of the details about what they might need to help them be comfortable during their birth. Premier Birth Center’s birth suites feature: • Built-in Soaking Tubs – our deep soaking tubs can be used for labor and for waterbirth. Deep immersion helps you feel weightless, and helps take the edge off of the contractions so your body can relax and let your baby be born more easily. • Private Bathrooms with Showers – many moms spend quite a lot of time in the shower during labor, letting the warm water run down their back to relax them. • Flatscreen TVs – TV may be the last thing on your mind in active labor! But, in early labor, you may find a movie is a good distraction. Or, you can use our TVs to tune into Pandora® to listen to music during labor. • Fireplaces and Ceiling Fans – Control the temperature in your room, or just enjoy the ambiance the fireplace adds. • Queen Pillow-Top Beds – Our beds are real beds, not hospital beds. You’ll have no trouble getting comfortable here! • Family Area – We want your family to feel comfortable, too. Each birth room has seating for family members, including a place for someone to sleep. Premier Birth Center families also have use of the full kitchen and living room. Your extended family will be comfortable with plentiful shopping, restaurants, and hotels nearby.
