A Rich History

On January 14, 1951, Neosho Memorial Hospital was dedicated as a memorial to the men and women of Neosho County who served during World War II. A critical access facility, Neosho Memorial has Level IV Emergency Department, inpatient unit, intensive care unit, infusion services, observation unit, surgery center and one of the region's largest obstetrical units. In addition, NMRMC has medical clinics in Chanute and Erie, KS. The hospital also has award-earning department sincluding laboratory, imaging services, sleep lab, respiratory therapy, home health, and senior behavioral care. Governed by a seven-trustees appointed by the Neosho County commission, Neosho Memorial is a county-owned,critical access hospital.
