🌼 Pansies of Joy at Chatham Ridge 🌼
In a town called Carrboro, not far from the pines,
Southern States sparkled with generous signs.
A store full of charm, with heart at its core,
Decided to give — and oh, they gave more!
They packed up some pansies, purple and gold,
With petals like velvet, a sight to behold.
To Chatham Ridge, where kind hearts reside,
They sent blooms of joy, with love as their guide.
Now Edith, a sprightly soul full of grace,
Took pansies in hand with a smile on her face.
She planted them high, she planted them low,
In gardens and pots where sunshine would glow.
She tucked them in corners, she lined every path,
She giggled with glee at each pansy’s sweet laugh.
The residents watched as the flowers took root,
While Edith danced by in her gardening boots.
Oh, Edith found joy in each handful of earth,
In blossoms that bloomed and the laughter they birthed.
With dirt on her hands and the sun on her skin,
She felt every pansy was planting a grin.
Now Chatham Ridge blooms with color and cheer,
Thanks to a store and a woman so dear.
So if you’re in Carrboro, give Southern States a wave,
For the pansies they sent — and the joy that they gave! 🌸
