GRADUATION DAY
This means a lot to me. Regardless of the fact that I don’t have an undergraduate degree, I’ve attended two different colleges and was even on the Dean’s List. But I’ve gone years without knowing what I wanted to do for a career or what I am good at doing for others. At the very start of the pandemic I decided to enroll in the Esthetics program at Aveda, knowing that I would come out stronger, with more knowledge and skills to offer the world. If you know me, you know I love beauty, art, tattoos, permanent makeup, and organic skincare, and esthetics-making people feel good in their own skin-feels natural to me. I truly believe that now more than ever people need services for self care. So I went for it and here I am 600 hours later, after spending summer days on Zoom classes and then managing to keep myself and my family healthy after arriving on campus. So I did it! Because I’m determined and ambitious. Anyway, this isn’t my first ever accomplishment and it won’t be my last, but I’m still proud of myself! Next up: passing the NC State Board Exam-fully Licensed Esthetician coming soon. 👩🏼🎓
