He prefers making a small incision just under the chin rather than inside the mouth, allowing for more precise placement and control. From there, he carefully creates a pocket along the bone lining, places the implant, and secures it with dissolvable sutures.

The implant sits beneath the skin and soft tissue, functioning like a subtle bone augmentation that gently projects the chin forward. This approach helps create definition and balance without visible edges or an overdone appearance.

We have been talking a lot about facial rejuvenation lately, and that always seems to lead to talking about deep plane face and neck lifts, but there is so much more to facial rejuvenation than just a sharper jawline and smoother skin.

There is an old proverb that states “The eyes are the window to the soul.” Through the aging process, it is common to develop excess skin of the upper eyelid that can make us look tired and unhappy.

An upper eyelid lift, known medically as an upper blepharoplasty, is the ultimate small change-big impact procedure that I do. Removing that excess skin allows the eyes to look more open and brighter, providing a rested and refreshed look as you can see it this vibrant 56 year old patient of mine.

This surgery, when done alone, takes about 45 minutes under a local anesthesia (numbing medicine only) with only about 1 week of social downtime before the sutures are removed and any bruising goes away.

Many of you that have already interacted with Pankti already know what a gem of a human she truly is! She has been a member of the FPS staff for 3 years, with a small break in the middle to finish up school.

She received her degree in Economics from UNC-Chapel Hill and loves cheering on her Tar Heels! She brings strong organizational skills and attention to detail to her role as Patient Coordinator, guiding patients from their initial consultation through surgery planning and recovery.
Pankti enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and finds it rewarding to see their results bring a positive impact on both their confidence and everyday life.

She is dedicated to making the surgery booking process smooth and stress-free, so patients feel supported every step of the way.

It’s always interesting to see conversations around plastic surgery becoming more open, especially when someone in the public eye like Denise Richards shares their personal decision to pursue facial rejuvenation.

For a long time, this has been something people felt they had to keep quiet about. But the truth is, wanting to feel more confident in your appearance isn’t superficial, it’s human.
