Post-Covid Breathwork and Movement 💝
If you or someone you love is having a hard time bouncing back, this is a program worth checking out. 🤗 This 3 week series aims to help those with breathing and endurance challenges:
👉🏻 work on various breathing techniques to promote lung fitness, rib mobility, diaphragm movement, and stress reduction
👉🏻stretch tight muscles that tend to worsen during illness and limit our ability to breathe fully
👉🏻 move the body in conjunction with diaphragmatic breathing strategies, promoting rib mobility (lungs need to expand so ribs need to make room and move!), spine flexibility, and calm.
🙏Note: This is not physical or respiratory therapy. No prescription needed. It is foundational breathwork with helpful, intentional movement. 🦋

This program meets LIVE VIRTUALLY once per week for 3 weeks for 50-60 minutes/session.

L A U G H T E R 🙌 I’m talking full on belly laugh 💥 When was the last time you let go and just HAD FUN?! 🦋 I know I need gentle encouragement not to be so hard on myself. Maybe you do as well, so I’ll ask: Can you intentionally let go and be kind to yourself today? 🙌 I promise your standards will still be high, but you’ll be free from the smoke and mirrors of perfection and the pain that comes with taking yourself too seriously...and you just might enjoy life and those around you a bit more. ❤️ After all, laughter really IS the best medicine. 🙏

Never stop learning! 💥 Even with years of Pilates experience, private sessions with Katie always take my personal practice up a notch. 🎯 Cueing is so valuable in terms of taking our movement practice to the next level. 🦋 I have clients tell me all the time: I thought I was lined up like this or moving like that, but I was waaaaayyy off! No wonder my hip/back/knee was hurting!😬
❤️Tuning in and receiving feedback and cues from a skilled instructor can be super helpful in helping you learn more about your movement patterns and posture habits. 🤗 If you’re always working out with a video recording and avoiding live, personal training, you’re missing out! 🧚‍♀️No matter how “pro” you are, take your learning to the next level and find someone who understands the body, movement, and compensatory habits, and is able to skillfully communicate to bring about positive change. 💝 Chances are you’ll move more efficiently and feel better in the long run. 🙌
