Injury prevention was front stage this month as Safe Kids members from both Safe Kids Orange and Safe Kids Chatham provided two injury prevention trainings with UNC Pediatric Residents. We covered safe firearm storage, water safety, overdose prevention and medicine safety, and helmet safety all in one hour! A big thank you to our Safe Kids coalition members who volunteered their time to provide this valuable training.
