Let the holiday season begin. First party of the year! The girls asked me what I was wearing, and I said it’s between my funeral dress and leather. They thought I was joking. 🙃
At this time of year, it is vitally important to reduce overstimulation and strike a healthy balance between engaging and relaxing.

The goal is to get slow dopamine for joy and pleasure (not dopamine spikes that make you crash).

That’s what I did Friday night with the besties. So wonderful being able to spend time with the people I love ❤️ eating delicious food, laughing, dancing very poorly to a rock band, and making memories.
This holiday season make a plan to spend quality time with your people , also be sure to get enough rest and personal relaxation. Keep the balance and your brain 🧠 will thank you!

Thanksgiving, but for Your Mind 🧠❤️

Neuroscience shows that gratitude doesn’t just make you feel better. It literally helps regulate your nervous system and shift your brain into a calmer, safer state.

When you slow down to notice what you’re thankful for, you’re not being “soft.” You’re strengthening the parts of your brain responsible for emotional regulation, resilience, and connection.

So today, take 10 seconds. Name one thing you’re grateful for this year. Then take it one step deeper and name one thing you’re grateful for in yourself. Your brain learns safety through what you focus on.
